Problems with Suite 1 Month ago Karma: 0
I seem to be having a problem with this suite on my site. Also, I have confirmed that I am running php 5.

1) I can't access the feed in IE. When I click on the Podcast icon in the module, it does noting. It shows the correct link in the status bar, but it doesn't navigate away from the home page. Works fine in Firefox.

2) For some reason, the podrss20.xml file is not being created. I've checked to make sure that libxml is installed and enabled and it is. I've checked to make sure that my cache directory is 777 in the root and it is. For some reason, it's coming up short.

3) Also, and I don't know if this is a symptom of another problem, but when I click on Manage Clips, the text at the top of the page looks incomplete. Here's a shot of the page. (I edited out the directory up to /components ...I don't know why...I just did.) The part I'm concerned with is what comes after, "You can use another"?

Site is http://sandbox.fellowshipsearcy.org

Any suggestions on any of these errors?

Thanks

1) Not sure what's causing the problem. Which version of IE?

2) Podcast Suite 1.5 uses the new caching system in Joomla! so podrss20.xml is no longer created. Caching isn't strictly necessary for the component to work, but it is nice if you have high traffic.

3) Thank you for pointing this out. It's actually a bug and I've now fixed to be released in the next version. The full sentence reads like this "To add new files, use an FTP client. You can use another directory instead by adjusting the parameters."

The version of IE that I'm using is IE6. I very seldom use IE, but I want to make sure that my users are able to access it.

Thank you for answering the questions.

I think version 6 may be the issue (and finally one that will go away sooner or later). I'll try to find a copy to test as well.

I agree about it being IE 6. I tested on IE 7 and it worked fine. It pulled up the standard "feed" page.
