A new version of phpMyAdmin for Joomla has been released. This corresponds to the 2.6.2 release of phpMyAdmin. The phpMyAdmin component is designed for use on development sites. If you intend on using it after launching a live site, be sure to secure the /administrator/components/com_phpmyadmin262 directory with an .htaccess password. If you are hosting your site with Microsoft IIS, contact your system administrator for approrpriate security settings.
