I'm getting the 500 error when I submit to iTunes.

Here is the strange thing, it was working for a long time, then they dropped it this week for the 500 error. However, following their advice, I can manually subscribe in iTunes and download every episode and listen to them.

Only thing that may be considered different is that I'm offloading the .mp3s to Amazon S3 and using that url to serve up the podcasts. It still works manually though.

Any ideas folks? Thanks in advance.

Same issue for me too. I had my podcast up and running since about 1 1/2 years (on http://www.gvpres.org -> Worship -> Listen to Sermons) but also on iTunes. Yesterday I received an eMail from Apple that the podcast wasn't reachable and was rejected.
The URL: http://www.gvpres.org/index2.php?option=com_podcast&feed=RSS2.0&no_html=1
seems to work as before yet when I try to add it to iTunes again I get the message:
"We had difficulty reading this feed. Bad http result code: 500"

I have the last/current 1.5 version installed.

@jrlsage are you by any chance using sh404SEF? Some people have reported problems using that extension with the Podcast Suite.

No...not using sh404SEF. I am however, using the ingrained joomla SEO product.

I tried to submit the URL you mentioned: http://www.gvpres.org/index.php?option=com_podcast&view=feed&format=raw
to iTunes, but I get another error message now:
"Error parsing feed: Invalid XML".

Our Podcast was indeed removed from the App store. It's still in my iTunes and still updates from there it seems, but it cannot be found anymore in the App store...

What could be different?
